Self-service warehouse solution
A solution where customers can scan products in a self-service warehouse and place orders without the intervention of an employee.
We built the PWA app directly on top of the business software. The customer logs in, scans the products, selects the project and confirms the order. The business software automatically creates the mailing lists. Admin will receive a notification if the order remains unconfirmed.
The technical solution uses a separate module for fast barcode reading and works even with a bad internet connection thanks to the cache and queue logic.
Automating new product creation
Merchants know this problem: adding a new product requires multiple manual steps in today’s system.
The special solution brings together the entire process in one view. The end user sees a simple form — “enter name, upload image, press save”. In the background, the system works automatically: finds and structures the data, translates, creates the product code, saves the data, links the image and sends the product to the e-store.
Custom views and data display
Often it is not necessary to create a whole new system, but to create a system to organize the existing database.
Example: A merchant needs a “products without images” view. In the standard view, he has to filter himself and open each product separately. As a special solution, we create a custom view where only products without images are displayed with the option to add an image immediately.
Another example: displaying the buy price, sell price and competitors’ prices side by side in one view. The category manager sees the whole picture at once and can make decisions faster.

Will the special solution work with our current system?
Yes — we use information from your existing system so that you don’t have to replace the software(s) or change other processes.
Does Lumav also do process analysis or only development?
We do both. We always start with a process analysis — we map the current workflow, identify bottlenecks and propose an automation solution. Only then will we start development. This means that there is no need to hire a separate consultant and a separate developer. What is the difference between a ready-made solution and a special solution?
An off-the-shelf solution (eg PIM, price management or sales pipeline) is a standard product that solves a common problem.
